THANK YOU for seeing us.
This book is a guide for every single black teen girl. This is the book we all needed growing up. I'm a school social worker and I cannot wait to share this book with my students and their parents. The best thing about the book is that at the end of each chapter there is an exercise to complete. We have to do this work with our black girls and let them know we see and hear them. This book is a excellent guide and resource for Black girls. Definitely a must read and this book will impact generations and communities to come.

“encouraging book”
Great for black girls and parents with black girls. I love that there is a wealth of information about encouraging black girls. I also love that the book is also like a workbook. I am all for interactive learning.
